1. Who we are
Goldreward.io is an independent online casino review publication that lives at the domain goldreward.io. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. We do not run any casinos, we do not hold player accounts, and no deposit, wager or withdrawal ever passes through any system we operate.
2. What personal data we collect
We only collect what we actually need to keep the site online and to reply to the people who write in. In practical terms:
- The only personal data we hold is what you send us yourself through the contact form or by email. If you never contact us, we simply have no record of who you are.
- Basic, anonymised analytics show us which pages get read and, in broad strokes, which country visitors are browsing from, without ever identifying a specific person.
- Standard server logs briefly record IP addresses for security reasons.
- A very small set of cookies remembers your consent choice and a handful of basic display preferences.
We do not collect payment information, we never ask for identity documents, we do not build advertising profiles of individual readers, and we never sell, rent or share personal data with anyone.
3. What we keep and for how long

4. The legal grounds we rely on
Under Article 6 of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we lean on just two legal grounds and nothing more:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) covers analytics and functional cookies. Aside from strictly necessary cookies, nothing loads until you have accepted it through the cookie banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) covers replying to messages you choose to send us, running the strictly necessary cookies and keeping short server logs that help protect the site.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use only a handful of cookies. The strictly necessary ones load on every visit because the site cannot work without them; analytics and functional cookies load only after you opt in through the banner. You can read the full cookie-by-cookie breakdown on our Cookies page.
6. Who else sees your data
A small number of the site's functions depend on trusted processors. Each of them receives no more than they strictly need, and every one is bound either by GDPR-compliant contractual clauses or by an equivalent legal safeguard.
- Hosting provider. A European host runs the site and briefly retains standard server logs for security.
- Email provider. Anything you send to hello@goldreward.io is handled by a European mail host under a signed data-processing agreement.
- Analytics. Aggregated, anonymised traffic measurement (with IP anonymisation switched on) only runs once you have consented.
- Affiliate networks. If you click an outbound link to a casino, that operator or its affiliate network may set its own cookie so that any subsequent sign-up is credited to Goldreward.io. This happens on the operator's own site, where its own privacy policy applies from the moment you land there.
7. Your GDPR rights
If you live in the UK, the EEA or somewhere with equivalent protections, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure, the "right to be forgotten". Just email hello@goldreward.io to ask us to remove any personal data we hold on you; we handle verified requests inside the 30-day period the law sets.
- Restrict or object to how we process it.
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time, with no impact on anything else.
- Data portability, meaning you can obtain your data in a structured, machine-readable form.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, that is the ICO at ico.org.uk).
8. How to reach us
For any privacy question, data-subject access request, or concern about how we handle your information, please write to hello@goldreward.io. Include enough detail for us to locate your data, usually the email address you wrote from previously plus any relevant dates, and tell us clearly what you would like us to do.
9. Changes to this policy
We revisit this page whenever our tooling changes or the surrounding regulations move. Any meaningful update refreshes the last-updated date at the top, and we archive the previous version internally. The version currently live is dated 31 July 2026.
