1. What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site remember short pieces of information between page loads or visits, for example whether you already closed the cookie banner or which country page you last opened. Cookies are not programs, and they cannot carry viruses. Throughout this page we use the word "cookies" as a wider label that also covers similar tools such as browser local storage and tracking pixels.

That is the full list. We set no advertising cookies, we run no remarketing pixels, and we never sell or share cookie-based data with any outside company for marketing purposes.
3. Switching cookies off in your browser
The fastest way to stop analytics on Goldreward.io is the consent banner itself. Decline it and none of those analytics cookies will ever load. If you prefer to manage cookies across every site you visit, each of the major browsers gives you built-in controls to view, block or delete them:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From there you can block third-party cookies, block them all, or clear stored cookies for specific sites.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Selecting the "Strict" option blocks cross-site tracking cookies automatically.
- Safari (macOS): Settings → Privacy → block all cookies, or open Manage Website Data to remove single entries. On iOS: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Private or incognito windows: any cookie stored inside a private window is deleted the moment you close it.
If you block the essential cookies, parts of the site will stop working correctly, and the consent banner in particular will forget your choice. Blocking the analytics cookies has no effect on the content or the reviews, and will never lock you out of anything.
4. Third-party cookies you may collect
A few of the cookies you may pick up while using Goldreward.io come from third parties rather than from us. The classic case is affiliate tracking: when you click an outbound link to a casino, the operator you land on, or its affiliate network, may set a cookie so that any account you open afterwards is credited to Goldreward.io. That is how our referral commissions are calculated. It costs you nothing extra, and it has no bearing on our ratings. The moment you reach the operator's site, its own cookie policy takes over. Affiliate cookies of this kind typically stay active for roughly 30 to 90 days.
